Warranty

 

Fjällräven provides a 2-year limited warranty, that covers manufacturing defects. It does not cover every-day wear and tear or damage caused by the customer. Fjällräven warranty is only applicable to the original purchasers who have proof of purchase from an authorised retailer. Only available for customers with a valid shipping address in Australia or New Zealand. For goods purchased through resellers or overseas the warranty issues should be handled by the respective place of purchase that is specified on your receipt.

Manufacturing Defects:

The following variables are considered manufacturing defects and covered by our warranty policy:

    • Split seams
    • Broken zips
    • Broken buttons
    • Broken buckles

We like to think of it like a brand-new pair of shoes, scuffs can happen on the first day of wearing them and you know that they are not caused by design flaws.

The above variables will not be considered warranty defects if the products have been used for a period of time resulting in the issue.

 

What is not covered:

The following variables are considered accidental damage or general wear and tear and are not covered by our warranty policy:

    • Rips, tears, cuts, holes ​
    • Stains, fading, discolouration, colour bleeding​
    • Fabric pilling or fabric abrasion ​
    • Melted zippers or fabric​
    • Shrinkage​
    • Improper care due to waxing ​
    • Excessive sun exposure​
    • Faux Fur Trims (Not sold as a standalone product and we do not offer replacements)

 

Fjällräven has the authority to determine that if the cost of the repair exceeds a reasonable amount a replacement product will be issued in lieu of a repair. If your garment has a manufacturing defect please complete the form below and we will return to you with further instructions.

Please note:
    • All warranty submissions are subject to assessment. If approved, you will receive shipping instructions to send the faulty item to us for repair. Warranty repairs for Fjällräven in Australia & New Zealand is managed by Zen Imports Pty Ltd. Ultimately, warranty decisions are left to the discretion of the warranty team.
    • The average turnaround time for a repair is approximately three to four weeks.
    • You will be responsible for costs incurred in sending the faulty item to us  and we will in return take care of sending the item back to you after repair.
