My absolute favourite piece of gear that I own. I have taken it on multiple multi-day hikes and each and every time I gain more appreciation for its quality of build and the comfort it provides while lugging heavy loads. It has perfect features and I utilise every single one of them, particularly the large side pockets and straps which I use to secure my tent tight to the side of the bag. One night in the Blue Mountains I left the Keb out in my tents vestibule area. Heavy rain and strong winds loosened the peg of the vestibule flaps and the bag was ultimately left out in the open rain. I woke up the next morning to discover the bag exposed to the sky and dripping with water. To my surprise, the insides were bone dry without even having to use the rain cover. Essentially the fabric is super water resistant, even without waxing the exterior surface. I’ve also taken it on a 3 month backpacking trip to Turkey and it was perfect to carry all my clothes and travel essentials as well as many souvenirs around crowded streets and packed out busses. Really cannot stress more how great this bag is and really is a true testament for a quality long-lasting product from an awesome company such as Fjällräven.
